10 hour Intensive course

Through out the year, KMT runs specific 10 hour course in Azerbaijani language for beginners.

The course is a set of 10 lessons in a group.

Each lesson is one hour in duration.

The lessons cover some of the basic language concepts that you will find useful in everyday situations.

The informal low-structure approach encourages foreigners who have never taken lessons, or those who have started but not continued, to develop further their interest in learning a language.

General Azerbaijani Language Courses

Azerbaijani for English Speakers.

(A-1) Beginner. The primary goal of this course is to develop the ability to communicate in Azerbaijani according to the situation, purpose, and roles of the participants and, to feel comfortable without an interpreter or an Azerbaijani-English phrase-book. Therefore grammar and reading merely serve as a background for learning the language.

(A-2) Elementary. The course builds on and extends the foundations for accurate and fluent communication established before. This level extends the students vocabulary, grammatical and functional skills.

(A-3) Intermediate. This course further extends the learner’s vocabulary, grammatical, lexical and functional skills, enabling them to consolidate and develop their communicative competence in Azerbaijani through the use of a wide variety of stimulating and challenging activities. A range of higher-level comprehension skills is developed.

(A-4) Business Azerbaijani (two modules). This is a course for those who have already reached an intermediate level of Azerbaijani. Based on a carefully-constructed language syllabus, lessons tackle the functional areas of business interaction. The course is designed to enable students to relate the language they are learning to their own work experience.

Azerbaijani for Russian speakers dominants.

(A-5) Basic Azerbaijani is a course for Russian speakers who can use elementary level of Azerbaijani. Based on a carefully constructed language syllabus, the units also tackle the key functional areas of common interaction. Such as telephoning and socializing.

(A-6) Business Azerbaijani is a course for managers and students of business who have reached an advanced level of Azerbaijani. Based on a carefully constructed language syllabus, the units also tackle the key functional areas of business interaction. The course places special emphasis on skills in the work place - particularly listening and speaking. It is designed to enable students to relate the language they are learning to their own experience.
